DALE SHERRIFF-VICE CHAIRMAN
Dale has been in the medical equipment industry for over 20 years in Western Canada and started his own business as a manufacturer’s agent in June of 2019. He loves the challenges of being an entrepreneur and how it forces him to keep his reliance on God for wisdom and direction.
Many years ago, Pastor Mel Davis spoke over Dale that he would use his gift of administration to further the church and Dale believes his role as Vice-Chair of Destiny’s Board of Directors is the fulfillment of Pastor Davis’s word. He enjoys working alongside the incredible staff and leadership at Destiny School as well as his fellow board members who all have a heart to see the students become the leaders that God designed them to be. He’s looking forward to using the skills he’s learned from his business career to help guide the school through the next season of growth and expansion.

B.A English, B.A Fashion management, MBA – Human Resource Management from United Kingdom (UK)
It has been a pleasure and a privilege to serve on the school board since 2020. I have worked for several organizations in the UK from fashion to manufacturing to government. I bring to the board a perspective that focuses on understanding various stakeholders through the lens of my background experience in Human Resource Management. Our children are our future so the need for a solid education that is founded on strong biblical teaching is my passion. This makes DCS the right environment for our children to acquire knowledge and skills that are useful throughout their lives. I am a proud parent of two gorgeous girls who attend DCS. My husband and I have appreciated the impact the school has had on them.
I am proud to be a part of the school board at Destiny. My husband (Josh) and I run Hilltop Roofing in Central Alberta. Business keeps us busy but more importantly to us is our kids and their futures. As parents we believe being involved in all aspects of their lives is important as we raise them to be Godly men and women.

I am married to my husband Kene, and we are blessed with three beautiful children who all attend Destiny Christian School. At Destiny, our children receive excellent wholesome education which we are so thankful for. I trained as a lawyer and in my practice I had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients on different subject matters across various sectors of the society. This has enhanced my capacity to analyze and comprehend the multi-layered facets of societal interactions which I hope to bring to my role as a board member.
Barb Carritt has been a part of Home Church and Destiny School through many seasons. Three out of four of Barb’s children have already graduated from Destiny and one still attends the school. DCS is a ministry of Home Church and Barb’s role as part of the pastoral staff at the church helps create a strong connection between the church and school.
